Newsletter January 2019
Greetings!
Happy New Year from SHARE! We wish you and your family peace and happiness in this new season.

As we enter 2019, the midway mark of SHARE's 3-year strategic plan, I would like to let you know about some new initiatives for women and their families affected by breast or ovarian cancer. We are proud to announce that SHARE was recently named one of the recipients of the Celgene Innovation Impact Award. This will enable SHARE to replicate our groundbreaking outreach program outside of NYC in 2019, empowering women in medically underserved communities in Brentwood, Long Island and Orlando, FL.

Our online communities for breast, ovarian and metastatic breast cancer patients continue to grow. We have recently launched TalkMets/Tuesday, a new direct Helpline for metastatic breast cancer, and we are especially excited to let you know about SHARE's first mobile app: My MBC & Me, an app to help facilitate doctor-patient communication for patients with metastatic breast cancer, coming early 2019.

We're so grateful that you're a member of our community and look forward to connecting with you in 2019.

Expanding Our Partnership with PAN Foundation
SHARE is pleased to be able to expand our partnership with the PAN (Patient Access Network) Foundation in 2019. PAN offers financial assistance to those with life-threatening illnesses and will refer ovarian and metastatic breasts cancer patients to SHARE. They have also recently launched FundFinder, a web-based app designed to help patients quickly find financial assistance. Get more information here.
