GLA Spirit Week
From the Nurse's Office
Due to the increase in COVID cases, our nurses/principals will be using email to inform families of positive cases within the classroom. We are working hard ensure that families are notified in a timely manner. If you receive an email that there was a positive case in your child's class we ask that you please closely monitor them for symptoms. If students develop symptoms during the time frame indicated in the letter, please keep students home from school and reach out to the school nurse. We appreciate your help in ensuring we keep everyone in our GLA community safe!
COVID vaccination status update
As more students get vaccinated, we ask that you please take a minute to update the COVID Attestation form with your child's vaccinations status. Updating this form will help us when identifying close contacts and quarantines. We appreciate your help with this! Please reach out if you have any questions.
MPS COVID Testing
Attention Middletown Parents and Guardians,

Our school district will be rolling out randomized PCR testing for asymptomatic students and staff members. In collaboration with the RI Department of Health, this process will consist of weekly PCR testing for a percentage of our student body along with staff members who have already consented to COVID testing. If you have not filled out the COVID testing consent and would like your child to be involved in randomized pool testing, please submit the form below. If you previously submitted this form, and have now decided that you would not like your child to participate in randomized pool testing, please resubmit the form and notify the school nurse of this change.

COVID Testing Consent Form:

Thank you and please contact me or your school nurse if you have any questions or concerns.
