Lumen Cordium High School Reunion
The Lumen Cordium All-School Reunion held on April 22nd was a spectacular success! It was a well attended event, with close to 200 Lumen alumnae in attendance. Members of graduating classes 1967 through 1988 gathered for a few hours in the Activity Center, mingling with old friends, enjoying cocktails and appetizers, listening to classic pop played by DJ and reminiscing about LOHV's past, when the Villa was an all-girls Catholic high school. At the end of the memorable evening, photographer Thom Sivo gathered alumnae into the Chapel for this beautiful bird's-eye shot.
Easter at the Villa
The afternoon of April 13th was an "egg-cellent" one! Our residents showed off their creativity by dyeing dozens of eggs every color of the rainbow.
Our Life Enrichment staff kept residents busy this month with lots of Springtime-themed crafts and games.

LOHV Hosts the Cleveland Ballet
The Cleveland Ballet visited the Villa for an exclusive performance on the evening of April 14th. The event, which was free and open to the public, featured three works choreographed by Ms. Gladisa Guadalupe. Joining the dancers were soloist Iden Malke and Luwen Chen of the Cleveland Institute of Music.

We sincerely thank the Cleveland Ballet for a performance that showcased the beauty and joy of dance

WRAAA Honors Sister Regina
The Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging recognized Sister Regina Kusnir, LOHV's Director of Pastoral Ministry, at the WRAAA Aging Well Annual Luncheon and Conference. Sister Regina was honored with the Excellence in Service Provision Award for her devotion to the local aging population through the Seton Safety Net. Key note author and speaker, Regina Brett, highly praised the Villa for the loving care provided to her Mother while a resident at Light of Hearts Villa in her moving Keynote Presentation. We offer our congratulations and appreciation to Sister Regina, whose compassion, dedication, and hard work model LOHV's mission in our community.

Ronald McDonald House Dinner
The staff volunteered to participate in the Ronald McDonald House Dinner program. The Villa prepared a delicious dinner for the families who are residing at the Ronald McDonald House while their children are being hospitalized. It feels good to help others in their need. Featured in the photo: Andrea, Stephanie, Karen, Anne, Betty. Thank you to the staff for their loving support of this program.
