In an effort to keep you informed of recent regulatory updates that may impact you, we are forwarding the following information provided to us from NMLS as a course provider to all our students.

Subject: Update Your NMLS Accounts Now – And Save Time Ahead of Renewals 

NMLS has a new and improved login experience that requires action the first time you login. We strongly encourage you to log in to NMLS before Nov. 1 to ensure your account is up to date when you start the renewals process. As a reminder, the NMLS annual renewal period starts Nov. 1 and will continue through Dec. 31.

Log in to NMLS today and complete the new login process:

• Set up account recovery details – The new login experience will require you to enter an account recovery email the next time you log in to NMLS, if you haven’t already done so. We recommend that you use a personal email address that you will always have access to, regardless of your employer. This is important because NMLS will use the email address to help you retrieve your username and reset your password.
• The new login experience will also require you to verify your social security number and date of birth to ensure the information is correct. You only have to do this once.
