Monday, April 20– THUMBS UP IDAHO
Paint your thumbnails BLUE and give a big thumbs up in support of Child Abuse Prevention! A winner will be selected randomly from all submissions.
Tuesday, April 21– PREVENTION POSTERS
Create a poster (or have every member of the family create their own poster) supporting Child Abuse Prevention. Post the age(s) of the creators with the picture of the poster. A winner will be selected based on the creativity & message of their poster.
Wednesday, April 22– PINWHEEL PICTURES
There are a handful of pinwheel gardens around Nampa (Welcome to Nampa signs in Lakeview Park and by Fred Meyer, in front of City Hall, and in front of the Nampa Police Department). Take a family picture in front of one of the pinwheel gardens. If you can’t get to one, make your own pinwheel garden outdoors and snap a family picture in front of it! A winner will be selected based on creativity of the photo.
Thursday, April 23– SHINE SIGNS
SHINE is a national campaign to support survivors of child sexual abuse (more info found here: http://www.nationalchildrensalliance.org/shine/ ). Make a Pledge to help prevent child abuse. Use one of the example pledges on our page or create your own! A winner will be selected randomly from all submissions.
Friday, April 24– BLUE OUT
Show your support for Child Abuse Prevention by wearing BLUE! Get crazy & creative, and feel fee to include ALL family members (pets, favorite stuffed animals, etc.) A winner will be selected based on creativity and the amount of blue we see!
