Since OI’s founding in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1919, Optimists have been bringing out the best in youth, communities and ourselves. Today, I want to personally thank you for your continued commitment to Optimism.
Our shared philosophy transcends city limits, state lines and national borders. The international scope of our organization provides a diversity of ideas and collective resources that benefit every single one of our clubs. We are stronger together.
When you invest your dues in Optimist International, you are investing in your club and in your community.
Perhaps the most important but most overlooked benefit your dues pay for is comprehensive liability insurance. This insurance protects your club and its members from financial ruin if an accident happens or someone is injured during a community service project or club activity. By leveraging the size of our international membership, we can provide this protection much more affordably than an individual club or smaller organization could manage on its own.
