Today is an important day for our church and our response to the COVID-19 virus. March 20th is the day the Health Department of Volusia County advised that our time of self-quarantine is generally over. I have heard from many in our congregation that their time of quarantine is over and it is exciting!

However, this is a sliding scale. Not everyone is not the same schedule. A few remain in quarantine and a couple of us are still showing symptoms. Please continue to pray for all those impacted by this virus. March 20th is the date for the general church. If the Health Department contacted you directly in the past 2 weeks, please continue to follow their instructions.

Also, remember that just because we are making good progress as a church, we are still practicing self separation and groups of 50 or more are not meeting together for the foreseeable future. That being said, the church is not closed. The office is staffed 9 am- 1 pm weekdays and you can contact all the ministers as usual.

We will miss seeing you in church on Sunday. We will post a worship video again this week for you to view and share to your family and friends. There are also some exciting developments in the area of worship that I hope to be able to share with you tomorrow. Stay tuned!

We are all in this together and I am praying for you all!. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from Volusia County Health officials, the Florida Annual Conference, and government agencies, so we can continue to support you and all of our brothers and sisters in Christ. If you need groceries or prescriptions picked up and delivered to your home, call the church office and we will begin to work on that.

Be safe. Be Kind. Wash your hands. Repeat.
Sill in One Peace,
