A message from our CEO... With my first twelve months as CEO behind me, I want to share some of progress we've made supporting our goals to better serve you and our community: We’re making progress on our first utility-scale solar and battery project. We’re also on-track to complete significant upgrades to the Phillip H. Tollefson Water Treatment Plant next year. We are exploring new partnerships with our military customers to include future sites of new electric generation. On March 29, we hosted the national APPA Lineworkers Rodeo generating about $1 million for our local economy. In our commitment to safety, we improved joint training efforts with local fire departments and other first responders. Standard & Poor’s upgraded our credit rating to AA+. This strong financial rating helps keep rates as low as possible for our customers. Also, we signed a contract to upgrade our smart meters beginning next year to give you more information to better manage your utilities use. A great deal of planning for our customers and our community goes into preparing our annual budget, which was recently approved by City Council for 2020. Work on our Energy Integrated Resource Plans continues as goals were recently established thanks to public input. Let your voice be heard at our Energy Planning Workshop on Jan. 29, 2020 at 6 p.m. at Library 21c.

Rebate applications for energy and/or water efficiency products purchased between Jan. 1, 2019 and Dec. 31, 2019 must be submitted by Jan. 31, 2020.

Effective Jan. 1, 2020, we will apply the City of Colorado Springs Stormwater Fee to most non-residential water bills. The fee remains the same and may be prorated during initial billing.
