Dear Parish Family,
The Search Committee is able to report that the Canon to the Ordinary, Canon Norman, tells us that applications are coming in to the Diocesan office for our rector position. He is not able to reveal the number. The deadline for applying is January 1, 2021. Until that time the search committee will be waiting to receive the list of candidates the Diocese provides to the committee.
Meanwhile, the committee is finalizing a list of written questions that will be submitted to each candidate that will be in addition to the questions on the Office of Transition Ministry form that each candidate fills out. The important work of the Search Committee will begin once the list of candidates is given to the committee by Canon Norman.
Please keep the Search Committee and St. John's Parish in your prayers. We will give you more news about this important process as we know it.
