Greetings!
Love, Kindness and Confidence capture the mood at Loudoun Therapeutic Riding this month. Next week, we will announce the addition of two new herd members made possible by the love and kindness you showed through your generous donations on Giving Tuesday and throughout 2020. On February 13th, LTR’s Board of Directors led by President Reggie Howard will finalize our strategic plan that will confidently set LTR’s course culminating in celebrating our 50th Anniversary in 2024.
Even though snow is on the ground, we are busy planning the 2021 Preakness Party, our biggest fundraiser of the year. With Covid-restrictions on large gatherings predicted to be with us in May, we are organizing Preakness Paddle Up for the Ponies Pod Parties. If you would like to Host a Pod, help with planning, or soliciting auction items, please click on the button below. SAVE THE DATE for Saturday, May 15th.
February is also the month when registration for LTR’s 12-week Spring sessions begins. Loudoun Therapeutic Riding’s Policy is never to turn anyone away because they cannot pay the session fees. To help ensure this, all fees are reduced by 77% from their actual cost for every participant. If the cost is still a hardship, we reduce the fees on a sliding scale. In honor of their service, veterans and their families are not charged at all. Grants and donations from Loudoun County, individuals, businesses and corporations, foundations, and you enable us to do this.
With Love, Trust, & Respect,
