Keep Your Masshealth Coverage

MassHealth changed its continuous eligibility (CE) standards. Certain MassHealth members can keep their coverage for the year even if they experience changes that would normally affect eligibility. 

The following three groups now have Continuous Eligibility: 

• Members under age 65 released from jail or prison
• People under 65 who are verified as chronically homeless
• Children under the age of 19

People may lose coverage before their CE period ends if they:

• Turn 19 (aging out of coverage)
• Move out of state
• Voluntarily withdraw
• Are found to have not been eligible to begin with (erroneous initial eligibility)

Better Technology for your Heart

CT (Computed Tomography) allows providers to get a detailed look inside your body. The CT scanner takes pictures in “slices”, making tumors, nodules, cysts and other issues easier to see.

CHA is now offering CT Cardiac Angiography for patients. This high-demand service provides detailed images of the heart, arteries and veins. It helps assess coronary disease like narrowing of the vessels or blockages. 

Talk to your CHA primary care provider or cardiologist to see if you need this level of care. Specialized CT scans – another way CHA brings Care to the People!

Free Food at CHA Revere Mobile Market

Each month, CHA gives away food at no cost to patients and community members in need. In the past year, we gave away 155,605 pounds of food!

If you’re worried about not having enough food, let us help. The CHA Revere Mobile Market is open to everyone. All you have to do is register when you arrive. No documents are needed. You’ll be given one bag filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. Check our website for the schedule and hours.
