"'This is just a change of setting, a new storyline, a fresh chapter. We have a whole book to write,' she says, squeezing me around the shoulders, 'and how do we write it?'
'One page at a time,' I say automatically."

Re-opening will be a process and we will learn and adjust as we go. Please be patient with fellow customers and our booksellers as we work out the kinks. This is uncharted territory for us all. If you don’t feel safe entering the store, no worries,
we will continue to offer contactless curbside pick-up. Additionally, you may always have your purchase shipped directly to your home, and books ship for just $1 per book.

May 28 · 6pm · Live Zoom Chat
Berkley Romance is proud to host a group of amazing authors celebrating LGBTQ+ fiction and kicking off Pride Month! Moderated by Michelle Hart, the assistant books editor of
O, The Oprah Magazine, the panel will feature Meryl Wilsner, Casey McQuiston, Kacen Callender, and Gabby Rivera!
Signed copies of Meryl Wilsner's book are available exclusively through Schuler Books
here!
About the Book
A showrunner and her assistant give the world something to talk about when they accidentally fuel a ridiculous rumor in this debut romance.
Hollywood powerhouse Jo is photographed making her assistant Emma laugh on the red carpet, and just like that, the tabloids declare them a couple. The so-called scandal couldn't come at a worse time—threatening Emma's promotion and Jo's new movie.
As the gossip spreads, it starts to affect all areas of their lives. Paparazzi are following them outside the office, coworkers are treating them differently, and a “source” is feeding information to the media. But their only comment is “no comment”.
With the launch of Jo’s film project fast approaching, the two women begin to spend even more time together, getting along famously. Emma seems to have a sixth sense for knowing what Jo needs. And Jo, known for being aloof and outwardly cold, opens up to Emma in a way neither of them expects. They begin to realize the rumor might not be so off base after all…but is acting on the spark between them worth fanning the gossip flames?
