We are excited to officially introduce the new Calendar Exchange embedded within Izon, the Collins Connected Platform. 

The Calendar Exchange application is the first module of the next-generation scheduling suite. ARINCDirect will continue to support its legacy scheduling application FOS while we build the richness of our new scheduling solutions. 

Calendar Exchange provides flight departments with a simple solution for managing missions in a calendar view. Users can input trips and legs for their aircraft and assign crew members and passenger counts. This allows for all members of the flight department to have situational awareness of key assets. The application is designed for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. This is just the first phase of our solution and the customer feedback we receive will drive future enhancements to the application. Some of the planned enhancements include integrating the Calendar Exchange with the ARINCDirect flight planning application and FOS. These features are in process and will be delivered to the market later this year. Other solutions in plan for this year include an application to manage people, specifically crew and passengers. This will allow records to be maintained and utilized in the crew and passenger loading for trips entered into the Calendar Exchange.
