Chris has a new home -- and a new job
After losing his job in 2015, Chris suddenly found himself homeless. He lived outside for two years.

Last year HHC's outreach worker persuaded him to come into the shelter. Within two months had a new job, a new home, and a new lease on life.

When asked about his first night in his new place, Chris said it was amazing to fall asleep in his own bed, in an apartment that was all his own.

Chris loves his new apartment.
