Hello from your State House,

I'm thrilled to announce the launch of the Hampshire, Franklin, Worcester district Senate website which our team created for constituents in the name of greater government transparency and accountability, as well as robust constituent services.

The website ( senatorjocomerford.org ):

  • Is a virtual one-stop-shop on our work and legislation, while laying out the many ways the Senate team can and should support constituentswhether individuals, nonprofits, local businesses, or municipalities;

  • Provides easy access to resources to help constituents best navigate state government; and

  • Helps build constituent capacity and engagement with your government.

Every day, my team and I work to bring what’s happening in the Massachusetts Senate back home to western Massachusetts because democracy and our government demand that constituents are thoroughly informed and have the power to engage on issues about which you care deeply.

This website is a virtual embodiment of initiatives we’ve already launched this year such as The People’s Office Hours, March Academy Teach-Ins, and monthly ‘Dear Jo’ column in The Daily Hampshire Gazette —all geared to breaking down barriers and strengthening the connection between our constituents and the Hampshire, Franklin, Worcester Senate team.

Sending warmest wishes on this bright spring day,
P.S. We'd love your feedback on the website. Please email jo.comerford@masenate.gov.

P.P.S. Our staff and intern team gathered in Boston this morning to send a big thank you message to Cider House Media who designed and built the website. Learn more about the Cider House team here.
