Hurricane Ida Resources

This weekend, on the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s landfall in Louisiana, Hurricane Ida ravaged the Gulf Coast.

Although it is not yet possible to measure the exact extent of damage caused to our Network members and their communities, estimates project devastating losses. Our hearts are with our friends along the coast as they begin the recovery process.

We’d like to take this opportunity to share some resources that may be useful now - in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida - and in future hurricane emergency situations. This message was adapted from content originally distributed in 2018 by NNLM SEA (now NNLM Region 1).

NOTE for DOCLINE Members: If your library will be closed due to the hurricane, please set your library to “Out of Office”. How do I set my Library "Out of Office" and temporarily deactivate lending in DOCLINE?
