This weekend marks the end of our 2020-2021 PSR year. Thank you very much for your patience and kindness this past year with our online PSR Program. I know it was not the same, but I hope prayerfully reading the Gospel and reviewing the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies with your children was a spiritually enriching and a positive educational experience.
I hope there were not too many hiccups receiving your digital copies. I am sincerely grateful for Mary Hrich’s help. I think she did a terrific job taking care of any issues, making sure you had your codes and had all the paper copies available in the parish office lobby. Thank you, Mary!
I hope you have a safe and fun summer. Our parish festival is right around the corner and I hope can attend. Thursday Night of our festival is family night. We have a pasta dinner special for families and discounted wristbands for the rides. Again, I hope to see you there.
Currently, we are trying to put together a modified, outdoor Vacation Bible School. We are doing our best to integrate the diocesan directives to create a safe and fun VBS for the children and volunteers. Stay tuned for more details.
Lastly, as of now, we plan to return to the classrooms next fall for PSR. Please know we will offer the Online Program for families that are still little uncomfortable coming into the building. No worries! As of now, the first Sunday, Families In Faith monthly gathering in the gym is on hold. Registration for VBS and 2021-2022 PSR will be available once we have more details finalized.
Again, thank you for your patience and kindness. Keep up the good work of handing on the faith to your children. God bless and stay safe!
Peace and Goodness,
Fr. Steve Breck
Pastor, St. Mary Magdalene
