Girls Who Code
The national Girls Who Code  movement was founded with a single mission: to close the gender gap in the field of computer science. The City of Salisbury hosted a Girls Who Code club recently, with City Manager Lane Bailey saying, "The disparity between females in the technology field versus males is the one reason we brought Girls Who Code to Salisbury.”
The Salisbury Girls Who Code  Spring 2018 session, which began in February, ends on May 7th. The program is free, but offers limited seats. The City of Salisbury is currently applying to host the next Girls Who Code club. For more information, contact Claire Karriker at (704) 638-5304 or [email protected] .
