A personal note from Michael Berry.
Simply put: we have a team of dedicated, committed, talented people who have families to feed. If we can feed you, they can feed theirs.

We will be open and serving bbq seven days a week at the RCC, starting this Thursday, March 19th. We will open at 11:30am until we run out of barbeque. If the demand warrants it, we will stay open later. We’ll communicate that to you in another email if we do it.

You can call in your order starting this Thursday at 713.999.1000 or you can arrive and order it there. We would REALLY appreciate if you would call it in, as it helps us help you get in and out faster. 

Our dining room is NOT open. ONLY take-out.

Below is our limited menu that we are starting out with on Thursday (subject to change). But note that it will depend on what we have available that day.  We will be offering some combination of brisket, chicken, sausage, ribs and sides (beans and coleslaw). However, we will not always have every item and will do the best with the deliveries we are able to procure. Please be patient with us, we’re doing the best we can.

  • Brisket Plate $12 (with side of beans & coleslaw)
  • Chicken Plate $12 (with side of beans & coleslaw)
  • Chopped Beef Sammich $9 (with side of beans & coleslaw)

In 7 years at the RCC, we’ve had ups and downs. I’ve come to love our team, just as I appreciate you for your support. 

This crazy health scare is real, and we have to take aggressive steps to fight its spread. We have to be careful and mindful of good hygiene and following basic common sense.

The RCC is the Republic Country Club & BBQ, a place where good people can relax and have a beer, a bourbon or some whiskey, and some proper slow smoked Texas BBQ, while listening to a musician croon his heart out around other like-minded people.
 
RCC has a very relaxed atmosphere. The place has the feel of a sleepy old town that hasn’t been touched in a generation, so don’t criticize that we have nothing that is fancy or new. Our menu of food and drinks is well-crafted and lovingly curated. Our food is from Republic BBQ, next door on the same property. 
 
We have live music most Friday and Saturday nights. Often it will be someone whose name you don’t know, playing for a bar tab, trying to chase the dream. We hope to showcase some folks who need a barstool and a few willing listeners to hone their craft. We’ll ask that you pay attention to the band if you sit near the stage, and that if you wanna talk you respect them by moving to the back. We also have had some amazing national artists grace our little stage, including Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Tracy Byrd, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Charley Pride, Charlie Daniels, Robert Earl Keen, Cory Morrow, Pat Green, The Bellamy Brothers, and many, many more. 
We do all the work, you have all the fun.

We handle booking the band, we do the cooking and the clean-up, you just come and enjoy. No hassles, no worries, just fun.

We host corporate events, retirement parties, continuing education classes, Christmas parties, fundraisers, reunions, weddings, birthday parties and more. We’ll host your party of 25 to 1,800 guests in an authentically Texas venue voted Houston’s Best Honky Tonk!
