Recently Lookout was chosen by WE Care Vancouver to be the recipient of their first initiative in Vancouver!!

With help from partners Parq Vancouver, alongside  Victory Square Technologies , WE Care Vancouver is excited to offer free resources and activities to people looking to get involved in their communities!

This new initiative aims to strengthen the city’s involvement in community service by offering a series of free tools for volunteering, workshops, and a celebration of these world-changing actions through the first-ever WE Day Family event coming to Vancouver this fall.
In total over 6,000 pairs of socks
and a $10,000 cheque was donated to Lookout

National Consultation on a Human Rights-Based Approach to Housing

rights-based approach to housing . We are doing this to help
strengthen and ensure that our vision for housing in Canada focuses
on the housing needs of the most vulnerable Canadians,
both now and in the future."

Hats Off Day is a huge, one-day street festival featuring a colorful main-street style parade with real local flavor, followed by a big street party. Hastings Street from Boundary Road to Gamma Avenue is car-free, and our streets are packed with families, friends, neighbors, and merchants!

Come on out and find Lookout's info booth with staff and volunteers!!
Animal Foundation
will be at Lookout's Parkway Shelter
Sunday, June 3rd
from 10am to 2pm
