WHAT'S NEW
HOW TO TALK TO YOUR KIDS ABOUT RACE
Last week, we held our How to Talk to Kids About Race program, featuring authors and activists Cara Meredith and Leta Seletzky. The talk, presented in English and Spanish, was eye-opening and inspiring. For those of you that weren't able to make it, we are happy to make available a suggested reading list. We extend a special thank you to the authors for permission to share this rich resource list. To learn more about the library's equity work, visit our RCPL CARES page.

WE HAVE MORE EMAGAZINES!
Good News! Our eMagazine collection has expanded and we now provide increased access to hundreds of eMagazines. Added titles include Knitscene, Audubon Magazine, Life & Style México, Olive Magazine, and many new titles from around the world. To get started with RBdigital, go here.
NEWS FROM THE LIBRARY FOUNDATION
The Redwood City Library Foundation has been supporting library projects for more than 20 years and we are continuing to do so during these unusual times.

Our new Executive Director, Lisa Hicks-Dumanske, has had to come up to speed in an entirely remote environment! We look forward to one day meeting in person. Lisa has stepped right up, finding some virtual workshops for board members to attend. She also read "Queenie, One of the Family" by Bob Graham for the library's Stories from Your Community series.

We are working hard to meet community demand by raising funds for the critical Bridging the Digital Divide program. Libraries are vital to a strong and connected community. Be a community hero and donate to support your local library today! Donate here
