It's an honor to connect with you here! I’ve enjoyed meeting with many of you over the past two months and getting to know the talented and dedicated Trinity church staff.
I wanted to provide an update on the vital work happening behind the scenes to address recent issues and ensure Trinity is as effective and vibrant as possible in its mission. Over the past six months, our staff and leadership have been actively implementing the ECO recommendations, along with valuable consultant feedback and insights from our work.
I’m pleased to share that we have already implemented close to half of the suggestions outlined in ECO recommendations. This means that many of the foundational changes needed for a healthier future are moving forward at a good pace.
The remainder of the suggestions are either in a discernment/development phase, where we are prayerfully asking, “Does this still make sense, or is there more we need to do?” or they are in a dedicated implementation phase, where we are focusing on the right timing and the best way to proceed.
Among the big items we’ve been working on is the restructuring of Session. The goal here is to help Session operate more efficiently at a higher level of governance, ensuring the long-term health and direction of our church. We’ve also focused on finding ways for the staff to be more connected, less siloed, and communicate better together, which is crucial for a unified ministry. Finally, I'm working with Glyn and Mike to help them deepen their awareness and hone their leadership skills in this season.
Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and prayers as we navigate this essential season of growth and refinement. Your commitment to Trinity is a source of strength, and I'm excited for what God has in store for us as we move forward together.

"Living Well in the World"
1 Peter 2:11-21
Consulting Pastor Scott Palmbush As we continue to celebrate the resurrection in these post-Easter days, we are studying Peter’s words to the church and learning how to live in the world. This week, Peter reminds us that we are loved by God and that our true home is with Him. Then he challenges us to live “good” lives deeply rooted in that love and confidence. When our behavior matches our beliefs, God will use our lives to change hearts. The most powerful example comes from the way we respond to unjust suffering. Not easy, but we rely on the Spirit, and we look to Jesus, who modeled it for us as he went to the cross.
This Sunday, we’ll dive into how our lives can reflect the truth of the Gospel and how our example can really make a difference in those around us.
