Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients:
3/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup butter
1-1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2-3/4 cup flour
2 tsp. cream of tarter
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Instructions:
Mix the shortening, butter, eggs & sugar together, then add the dry ingredients. Mix well and shape 1 tbsp. of batter into a ball. Roll the balls in a mixture of 2 tbsp. sugar and 2 tbsp. cinnamon. Place balls on baking sheet and press them down with a glass so slightly flat. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Enjoy!
