A special performance awaits at our Giving Society Reception

We’re excited to share that BailaMe Academy will perform at our Giving Society Reception on October 20! Founded and led by Artistic Director Lizett Mata, the group brings “Heritage, Art, and Tradition” to life through dance.

Dressed in traditional Veracruz regional costumes, the dancers will present a Veracruz Fandango fusion performance featuring storytelling dances inspired by the vibrant cultural traditions of Veracruz, Mexico. The performance highlights Son Jarocho, a musical tradition shaped by Spanish, African, and Indigenous influences. We look forward to sharing their artistry with you.

Enjoy empanadas from Puff Pies and complimentary beverages provided by 4 Hands Brewing Company while connecting with fellow supporters.

You’ll also hear from President & CEO Blake Hamilton and board leadership about the Institute’s impact and how Giving Society members help sustain this work through annual contributions of $1,000 or more.
