Being around all that ingenuity and creativity got me thinking about proud we are to be your homegrown, local, community media station. Our work helps to keep our citizens informed and shares Lincoln County's people, places and events of interest. Your support helps us connect our friends, family, and visitors here in Lincoln County and around the world.

As an example, LCTV's sports coverage means that we can still celebrate our young athletes' talents and persistence, even if we can't cheer from the stands. We've got a full week of middle and high school basketball coming your way on live stream at LCTV.org and broadcasting on Channel 7 (see below).

Cheerleading is another sport with a huge fan base in Maine. This Saturday at 3pm. we're pleased to air the MAC Virtual Invitational Cheerleading Championship 2022, with high school cheerleading teams from Calais to Sanford and Mt. View to Medomak Valley. Last year's competition was a huge online hit and we're sure this year will be too.

Tomorrow, we're headed back to the Miles LincolnHealth campus to film another expert update on vaccination clinics, booster shots, and testing availability. This is the news you need right here - homegrown, community focused, and factual. We'll share it on Facebook as soon as it's ready, as well as on Channel 7 and LCTV.org, and next week's newsletter.
