Currier Museum of Art presents Currier Created, which lets Currier Museum of Art staff step out into the spotlight and show off their own artistic talents. This exhibition shows that Currier staff do more than manage art, they can make it too — from painting to photography and everything in between. This show offers "a vibrant and personal perspective on the museum’s creative team," according to a curatorial statement. A portion of the proceeds from any art sales will go towards the staff budget. The museum is open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Currier Museum of Art is located at 150 Ash Street Manchester, NH For more information, please visit here. | |

New Britain Museum of American Art presents Women Reframe American Landscape, which features the work of nineteenth-century American artist Susie M. Barstow juxtaposed against the work of 13 internationally acclaimed, contemporary female artists. Many of the 13 artists made site-specific installations for this show that, much like the exhibition's title suggests, reframes the concept of land and the "landscape" in artwork. The museum is open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. New Britain Musuem of American Art is located at 56 Lexington Street, New Britain, CT. The Hood Museum presents Gather, Move, Resonate, which features works by textile artists Nick Cave and Jeffrey Gibson. The show presents one work by each artist, "Soundsuit," by Cave and "WHAT DO YOU WANT? WHEN DO YOU WANT IT?" by Gibson. These works, life-sized and fantastic, are playful and almost seem to invite interaction. The museum is open Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hood Museum is located at 6 East Wheelock Street, Hanover, NH.
