Join us for an hour of inspired stillness and reflection, along with some meditative music, led by Cantor Carol Garrett. ALL are welcomed to join us for this new program that aims at providing an avenue for mindful growth and destressing from our daily lives. Governor, Ron DeSantis has now officially entered the 2024 presidential race, and we need to make sure that voters across the country know exactly who he is. To achieve this, we want to create a "Banned Bookmobile", filled with books that DeSantis has banned from schools in Florida. Drive this vehicle around the state, handing those books out, for free, in highly trafficked areas that will attract media attention. To do this cost money, but you can help by making any donation.

How wildfires in Canada and Climate Change are linked ...
First, the background. Millions of people in the United States and Canada are facing dangerous air quality, as smoke from over 200 fires in Canada drifts south and blankets the northeastern U.S. in a foggy haze.
Is that bad? Yes – but poor air quality isn’t the only issue. Also of major concern is the sheer number of wildfires breaking out in Canada and other places right now, during what is still considered early in the wildfire season. Even more concerning? What these fires mean about climate change.
What about it? Climate change goes beyond just temperature, extending to various climate patterns and systems – including precipitation, wind patterns, ocean currents, and the increased frequency and intensity of extreme weather events.
