The Lord's Prayer

Oh, Lord, the disciples of Jesus must have been impressed with the way they saw Jesus praying. They asked him to teach them how to pray. Jesus tells them and me in the Gospel today, not to babble with many words but to pray directly to the Heavenly Father as children of a loving Father. Jesus insists that the Father already knows what we need. He loves to hear us ask to give us for forgiveness for the times we have missed the mark in my life to respond to His love. Give me this grace today, Oh, Lord. Amen.
