WAPI's for the World
has been able to send WAPIs to those in need
.....As we enter another month of unsure times here in the United States, the world around us suffers from this hideous virus. Inasmuch as the virus possesses a very real threat to third world countries, they also face another threat as well; the inability to provide the basic necessities for survival of food, potable water, hygiene and sanitation. We recently heard from our friends in Africa that the people in the slums are starving! They have been unable to go to work because of a hard lock-down policy. Last month we sent them some WAPIs and some mask to keep them safe. It breaks my heart that we have so many conveniences we take for granted. I pray this worldwide pandemic will end soon. Conveniences should not be taken for granted! Let us share with each other in brotherly love.
.....Although the world has shut down and countries have become isolated from each other, WAPI's for the World has been able to get some of our devices to those in need; praise the Lord. We recently, through Agua Pura Para El Pueblo, sent 100 units to Chiapas, Mexico. It is this kind of cooperation that keeps WAPIs for the World moving forward. Together we can make a difference!
.....We recently had a visit with Kathryn Toepel and her daughter Kelsey who graciously gave us components to assemble more than a thousand units. This included tubes, washers, heat tools, pliers, sandwich bags, etc. Thank you, Kathryn, for your generous contribution. It is this kind of unified effort that makes WAPI’s world outreach so rewarding. To see such caring efforts shared keeps me motivated and excited about the future.
.....Our WAPI is unique. Not just in its simplicity, but in its accuracy to determine when water is potable. Pasteurization is not new or unique. This process has been around since 1862 and is the most effective way to eliminate ALL harmful bacteria that are known to cause illness in the human body. There are many devices that claim to achieve the same goal, but they are expensive and difficult for those who are unschooled and do not understand how to use the device.
.....I have learned through my WAPI involvement that the regulatory councils have approved certain measures to assist these new devices to be marketed by setting a standard well below 100% elimination of harmful bacteria. Silver, ceramic, ultraviolet lights, chlorine (poison), and iodine (poison) to name a few. These processes have limitations that make it very challenging for those in developing countries. We have seen this firsthand, so we know this for a fact. Recently, we did a Petrifilm, and Colilert tube study with a silver-lined block device and discovered that if the water was over contaminated, the block left bacteria behind, plus it only lasted for a short while. How can a person know when the block loses its effectiveness?
Our WAPI can be used many times throughout the day
with the same exacting results for years.
.....We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We have been making and distributing these life-saving devices around the world for ten years; totally relying upon donations from those who minister to families in need. There is a great need for potable water and we help bring safe water and sanitation to people throughout the world. Every 21 seconds a child dies from waterborne diseases. Together, we can, and will make a difference. Any and all donations go directly towards supplies and shipping costs. We are an ALL volunteer organization!
Our reward is knowing that our WAPI devices are saving lives.
Get involved and feel the benefits of helping those in need.
.....Consider purchasing a unit for your emergency supplies or give them away for stocking stuffers this Christmas. A single unit sells for $5.00. Make a purchase of 10 or more and we share the cost at $3.50 each. Maybe your youth group would be interested in assembling some WAPIs. We can get together and make this possible.
With Warm Regards
