Conant Gallery at Lawrence Academy presents Innovation and Dialogue: The AIDS Memorial Quilt where four 12' x 12' panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display. The quilt, first made over 35 years ago to honor and remember those who died of AIDS, now carries over 55,000 panels and over 105,000 names. Each panel of the quilt was made not by artists, but by the family, friends and loved ones of those affected by AIDS. A true work of community art, the quilt represents decades of support and progress. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m. Conant Gallery at Lawrence Academy is located at 14 Academy Drive

According to artist statements, Anna McNeary "draws on the familiarity and symbolism of pattern, decoration, garments and domestic materials," Lu Keintz "engages feminist ethics of care, labor, and technology" through her work in sculpture, performance and video, and Elizabeth Duffy creates "invented controllable worlds that allude to the apparent comforts of home, to reveal its contradictions, pathos, and bewildering humor." The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Worcester Center for Crafts is located at 25 Sagamore Road, Worcester, MA. For more information, please visit here.

Kingston Gallery presents We Are Not the Stories We Tell Ourselves: Intersecting Thoughts — Parallel Play, an exhibition that features artist couple Phyllis Famiglietti and Debra Samdperil who explore the influence that the pair "have on each other’s work as they integrate the judgments, convictions, and sentiments that stem from long-ago traumas," according to a curatorial statement. Famiglietti "draws from the outside material world" through mixed-media assemblages and Samdperil "works from the inside out" with abstract paintings that delve into "an interrupted dialog drawn from complex layers of memory." The gallery is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m. and by appointment. Kingston Gallery is located at 450 Harrison Ave, No. 43, Boston, MA. For more information, please visit here.
