INTERNATIONAL INCIDENTS OF NOTE
Authorities in Hamilton, Ontario are trying to identify whoever left anti-Semitic symbols around the Beth Jacob Synagogue. A number of chalk drawings of a swastika and the word "Jews" crossed were left in the parking lot and on the sidewalk in front of the synagogue.
DOMESTIC INCIDENTS OF NOTE
Dale Halloway faces charges of attempted murder after opening fire during a wedding at the New England Pentecostal Ministries in Pelham, NH. Halloway is charged with barging into the church and shooting the bride in the arm and the presiding Bishop in the chest. He also struck the groom in the head with his weapon. Police are still trying to piece the incident together, but it does not appear to be directed at the church itself. Initial indications are this is a revenge shooting. The son of the groom has been charged with murder in the death of the church's minister, Luis Garcia on October 1st in his home ten miles away. Halloway was the step-son of Garcia. A celebration of life had been scheduled to immediately follow the wedding.
Police in Falmouth, MA are trying to identify whomever defaced a Jewish flag at the Falmouth Jewish Center. The flag was defaced with a swastika and 14-88, a numeric symbol frequently used by white supremacists. .
An LGBTQ flag was torn down and burned at the May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society in Syracuse, NY. The burned flag was found in the church garden and police believe this was an intentional act of hate. In a second incident in Syracuse, police are investigating satanic graffiti painted on the door of the Saint Alban's Episcopal Church. The graffiti was a pentagram and the numbers "666".
The Salem AME Church in Graceville, FL is reeling after finding multiple bullet holes in their church. Numerous shots were fired into the unoccupied building from outside. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify a small white car with several occupants observed in the area.
Police are searching for a man who broke a window out of the Central Longmont Presbyterian Church in Longmont, CO. The unknown man then poured an accelerant inside which he ignited. Fortunately the fire was extinguished by the church's fire suppression system, although $5,000 in damage was done.
