AAC'S 30TH ANNIVERSAY GALA

This year, the Agricultural Adaptation Council marks its 30th anniversary. On September 16th, AAC is hosting an evening gala to celebrate 30 years of advancing Ontario's Agri-Food sector. Join current and former staff and board members, industry partners and other stakeholders who have contributed to the success of the organization over the years.


AAC members are invited to register now and help the organization mark three decades of agri-food programming and the partnerships and collaboration that have made the organization successful.

The people within Ontario’s agriculture and food industry have always demonstrated excellence in running their businesses, adopting innovative practices and creating a safe and stable supply of food. 


To help showcase the outstanding efforts that have made this a $51 billion industry and honour the farmers, food processors, businesses and industry organizations that are driving the province’s world-class agri-food industry, nominations are open for the 2025 Excellence in Agriculture Awards.

The Excellence in Agriculture Awards supports the province’s Grow Ontario Strategy by spreading awareness of Ontario grown local food and encouraging people to choose high-quality, locally sourced food to support local farmers and businesses.  

RAPID RESPONSE TO BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE

Looking to Grow Sales and Reach Global Buyers?


Eligible Ontario agri-food businesses can now access up to $10,000 in funding to support travel and meetings that drive export growth. This initiative helps companies pitch new products, close deals, and enter new markets.


This initiative is funded by Grand River Agricultural Society and administered by AAC helping Ontario businesses accelerate export success and tap into new markets.

APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR THE VETERINARY INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Building a Healthy Livestock Sector in Ontario!


The Veterinary Incentive Program (VIP) provides up to $50,000, paid over a 5 year period, to newly licensed food animal veterinarians who practice in designated underserviced areas, or additional underserviced areas that are able to demonstrate the clients are underserviced in their geographic area. 

 

VIP serves as an incentive for veterinarians who choose to provide service to food animal producers in areas of Ontario with recognized veterinary access issues to help provide quality care to livestock producers.
