The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey announces the promotion of Nicole D. Baptiste to: Director, Membership Relations and Special Projects.
 
 
TRENTON, NJ. (April 19, 2021) The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey announces the promotion of Nicole D. Baptiste to Director, Membership Relations and Special Projects.
 
“We are honored to have Nicole as an employee of the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (AACCNJ) and I look forward to our collective commitment to excellence and differentiating our organization in the marketplace”, said John E. Harmon, Sr., IOM.
 
Nicole Baptiste joined the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (AACCNJ) as an Administrative Executive Assistant in 2018. Prior to her employment,
she volunteered at the chamber as Adjunct Staff beginning in 2011. She entered into her previous role as Membership Relations and Special Programs Manager in January 2019. Nicole’s areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: special program management, monthly accounts payables and receivables reporting, management of member tracking systems, weekly meetings with members, membership communications and outreach, website management, event website management, webinar platform management/guest coordination and preparation, scheduling of radio show guests for weekly radio show. 
 
In her new role Nicole will continue to execute the aforementioned responsibilities along with an increased involvement in activities that will afford a greater opportunity for Nicole to impact the growth and sustainability of the AACCNJ.
 
I am humbled and pleased to receive this recognition and promotion. I have enjoyed being a part of the AACCNJ for the last 9 years, where I first began as a volunteer. I am excited about my new position, where I will continue to manage our specialized programs, events, and membership as well as create and develop programs and initiatives for AACCNJ members”, said Nicole D. Baptiste.
 
Prior to working for the AACCNJ, Nicole used her years of formal riding training coupled with her experience as a part of her college equestrian team to teach riding lessons/classes for four years at the Essex Equestrian Center in West Orange, New Jersey, 2014 – 2019.

About Nicole Baptiste

When Nicole is not working at the chamber, she spends her spare time volunteering at animal shelters, horseback riding and working as a pet stylist. Nicole is a member of Union Baptist Church in Trenton, NJ. She enjoys international travel, and in 2019 traveled to Dubai on a seven day stay in the United Arab Emirates. She is a true Jersey girl, born in Princeton, New Jersey and her favorite place to be is at the Jersey Shore.
 
Nicole’s parents Jacqueline and Alberto Baptiste are Rider University Alumna and Alumnus, her father Alberto Baptiste was inducted in 1998 into the Rider Athletics Hall of Fame and is a member of the Rider University Board of Trustees and EOP CAB. 
Jacqueline Baptiste has served as the Executive Assistant to the Founder, President & CEO, AACCNJ, since October 2011. Nicole has one sibling, Noelle Baptiste – graphic designer, artist, couture runway model, and USFA Silver Medalist for Epee Fencing 2012.
 
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from Hollins University in 2014.
Nicole is a graduate of the Peddie School, Hightstown, NJ 2009
