Dwelling Fire Pasadena
Fire caused an estimated $50,000 damage and displaced two adults Sunday night in Pasadena. Firefighters responded to the 8000 block of Tower Bridge Drive just before 9:15 p.m. First arriving firefighters reported smoke coming from the second floor of the single-family dwelling. A fire in an upstairs bedroom was quickly located and extinguished. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Dwelling Fire Glen Burnie
Five people have been displaced following a fire in a Glen Burnie home Sunday afternoon. Firefighters responded to a reported dwelling fire in the 800 block of South Shore Road around 3:35 p.m. First arriving firefighters reported heavy fire from the front and rear of the two-story single family home. Firefighters made rapid entry to search for reported missing occupants, however, no one was located inside during the search and the occupants were later found safe outside. Thirty-five firefighters brought the fire under control in less than 30 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No dollar loss has been established, but the home is considered a complete loss. One firefighter suffered minor injuries and was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Motor Vehicle Collision Tracys Landing
Two people suffered serious injuries in a motor vehicle collision Saturday afternoon in Tracys Landing. Firefighters from Anne Arundel and Calvert Counties responded to an auto accident with people trapped in the area of Solomons Island Road and Jewell Road just before 5:15 p.m. Responders located a two-vehicle accident with the driver of one vehicle trapped. Firefighters freed the trapped driver, an 18-year-old male, in about 15 minutes. Two Maryland State Police medevac helicopters were requested and landed at nearby Traceys Elementary School. The driver who was trapped and his 14-year-old female passenger were both flown the trauma center at John Hopkins Hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. The driver of the second vehicle did not require hospital transport.
