In celebration of our 95
Anniversary, the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College is creating an updated Alumnae Directory. This directory will celebrate who we are at 95. It will also help us develop initiatives as we sharpen our focus on meeting the needs of alumnae through the strategic plan.
The first step in the project is to update our alumnae information. We are working with Publishing Concepts Inc., also known as “PCI”, a leading alumni directory publisher. All alumnae will be contacted by postcard or e-mail to request that they call a dedicated 800 number to verify or update their information. Please take a few minutes to participate and ask your classmates to respond as well.
We anticipate that it will take a few months, probably through March 2018, to compile all of the information. The new directory will be available in June – just before the AADC’s 96
If you have participated in our alumnae directory projects in the past, you may be familiar with the process. Be assured that any information you share will be handled with the utmost concern for protection and privacy. Public directory information – like your address and phone number - will be available only to sister alumnae who choose to purchase a digital or hard copy of the directory. You will also be able to stipulate if you prefer that information not be included, in which case only your name and class year will appear in the directory.
Additional information requested will not appear in the Directory, but only returned to the AADC for our files. We will then be able to share some of the information such as what percentage of alumnae are employed in different fields, how many are involved in volunteer activities or where on the globe we live – basically how we collectively impact the world! We are really curious to see this information and need your participation in order to get an accurate picture of who we are as a collective group of smart and savvy women.
Our last directory was published in 2003. We cannot help but wonder how the 14 years of new alumnae classes will impact the results and help shape how we move
Up-to-date information is integral to not only celebrating who we are at 95, but is needed as we plan new initiatives, enhance our life-long learning opportunities and identify new ways to keep alumnae connected and engaged.
Our hope is that you will take part and promptly respond to the request and call the dedicated, toll-free Associate Alumnae of Douglass College data verification line when you receive a request to do so. Thank you for taking part in this important project.
