Presentation:  DynaView

"DynaView is an integrated 3D modeling and monitoring platform which utilizes offset well information and seismic data combined with real time m/lwd data to perform statistically weighted 3 dimensional predictive look-ahead modeling of geological, petrophysical and pore pressure attributes. The intent of the platform is to reduce geological and petrophysical uncertainties, even in advance of real time, to thus improve both drilling and well performance and avoid GeoHazards.”
Fin, Feather, Fur Food Festival (F5)

The Mid-Continent Chapter of the AADE is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Fin, Feather, Fur Food Festival (F5) to take place in Oklahoma City on October 11th, 2019 located at the Heritage Place Event Center in OKC. The festivities will be from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. 

This unique cook-off competition gives cooking teams a chance to show off their culinary skills and enjoy an evening with the Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Community.

Admission Ticket includes: entry to facility, unlimited food samples and two beverage tickets.
 
Note - No actual tickets will be mailed. Your name will be placed on a list and you will check in at the door. 
Sponsorship Opportunities

GOLD SPONSORSHIP $1500 - 1 cook team, 15 tickets to the event, company name / logo on event wrist bands, company recognition on PowerPoint display during the event. 

NETWORKING SPONSORSHIP $1000 - 1 cook team, 10 tickets to the event, company name / logo on drink tickets,  company recognition on PowerPoint display during the event. 

TEAM SPONSORSHIP $550 - 1 cook team – 10 tickets to the event, company recognition on PowerPoint during the event.

GENERAL SPONSORSHIP $350 - 10 tickets to the event, company recognition on PowerPoint display during the event. 

TROPHY SPONSORSHIP $300 - 5 tickets to the event, company recognition on PowerPoint display during the event and company name included on the team trophy's presented.

F5 Event Details:

Event hours 4:30 – 9 PM

Food will be prepared outside and brought inside the arena for sampling
Guest judges will sample all dishes. Judges will decide winners for 1st, 2nd and 3rd with a fan favorite award that will be voted on by the attendees.

Judging will take place at 4:00 so the teams will be able to ensure food is hot and answer any questions for the judges before the crowds arrive.

Teams are encouraged to pick a theme and decorate their 10 X 10 space but standard signage will be provided for each booth.

Sponsorships include tickets but additional tickets can be purchased prior to the event and at the door for $25 each. Ticket provides food samples, beverage tickets and networking.

*Adult Beverages will be served by the facility.

July General Meeting Luncheon
We would like to again thank last month's meeting presenter Curtis Cheatham, Corva Senior Drilling Engineering Advisor.
Curtis Cheatham is Senior Drilling Engineering Advisor for Corva where his interests include real-time drilling optimization, torque and drag, data analytics, and machine learning.

His career began with Shell in 1977 where he worked in drilling engineering research and deep-water drilling operations in Gulf of Mexico. Focus areas included torque and drag, drilling optimization, hydraulics, BHA analysis, and PDC bits. In 1989, he joined Sperry Sun Drilling Services where he helped develop new drilling technology including PWD tools, rotary steerable systems, and downhole vibrations sensors. 
He has co-authored 19 technical papers with the most recent one to be presented next month at the Unconventional Resources Technology Conference in Denver titled: Cloud Based ROP Prediction and Optimization in Real Time Utilizing Supervised Machine Learning
Curtis is past executive editor of SPE Drilling & Completion Journal and is presently an associate editor. In 2016, he was elected an SPE Distinguished Member.
He holds a B.S. and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Curtis has served as 1st Vice President of New Orleans AADE and has given luncheon talks at AADE chapters in New Orleans, Lafayette, Houston, and Midland.
Nate Fleming and Paul Legg Memorial Scholarships
The AADE Mid-Continent Chapter events raise money for the Nate Fleming and Paul Legg Memorial Scholarships.
This 2019-2020 school year we are awarding in $51,000 scholarships!
