The Inclusive Fundraising Fellowship (IFF) of AFP Central Virginia, now in its fourth year, works to build a pipeline of fundraising leaders that reflect the diversity of our communities and promote practices that make a more just, equitable, and holistic Richmond fundraising community. We are thrilled to announce the 2023 fellows and invite development leaders in the Central VA region to get involved. AADO and Best Friends Continued Partnership

Meet Best Friends new Corporate Partnerships and Grants Management Interns, Gage Mofield and Hannah Litke!

Gage is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Administration at Colorado State University and is interested in organizational outreach and partnerships with potential stakeholders. Having previously worked as a student fundraiser for his undergraduate university, Gage enjoys connecting with people and looks forward to understanding the entire cultivation and relationship-building process from start to finish. Specifically, he hopes to learn fundraising and development best practices and industry marketing standards.

Hannah is currently pursuing a Graduate Degree in Philanthropy & Nonprofit Development at the University of Northern Iowa. She also works as the Volunteer & Foster Coordinator at the Story County Animal Shelter, a municipal shelter in Nevada, Iowa. Hannah believes that building relationships is the root of creating long-lasting impacts. While she has some foundational knowledge of fundraising, she is really looking forward to diversifying her knowledge, specifically strengthening her writing and communication skills.
