UPDATE

  Greetings AADO Members,

The AADO-CASE Conference on Diverse Philanthropy and Leadership was a tremendous success thanks to the 275 people who participated virtually, 23 exceptional speakers and session presenters, and the hard work of the AADO, CASE, and Georgia Tech staff. Technology did not fail us - a few glitches but nothing disruptive. We will share how to view recordings of the conference in the near future so stay tuned. Make sure you save-the-dates - April 7-9 for the 2021 Conference, which will be held in Washington, D.C.

I have heard from many of you who are experiencing fear and anxiety as you deal with your concerns about the employment outlook now and post-pandemic. Some of you are being furloughed and a number of you have recently lost your jobs (We are so very sorry). AADO is here to support you. We are planning several member-only Town Halls to discuss these and other real challenges you are experiencing and hear from senior leaders and experts in the field. We will announce dates soon.

A huge thank you to all of you for the important work you do in this noble and needed profession.

"Fundraising is the gentle art of teaching the joy of giving" -- Hank Rosso

Be safe and take care of yourselves.

Warmly,
Birgit
