A Message From Our President

Ryan J. Hall, Cooper-Smith
2018-2019 AAF Toledo President
|
June is my favorite month of the year! It could be because it’s my birthday month, but mostly it’s because it’s the beginning of summer and that means warm weather!
In lieu of our normal lunch & learn this month, we will be hosting a fun and exciting after hours event at one of the newly developed Metroparks! This
after hours social
will be hosted at the Beach Ridge Wheelhouse starting at 4:30 pm. We will be featuring two Metroparks representatives who will be speaking on the topic of
TAKING TOLEDO TO NEW HEIGHTS
. We will have grazing stations as well as a limited open bar. Stick around after the presentations for a tour of the Treehouse Village. You do not want to miss this event!
It has been a pleasure being your 2018-2019 AAF Toledo President. I hope to see you all at our many events this next year!

Membership, Friends, and Colleagues,
We have been privileged the last 17 years to have the guidance, expertise, and passion of our Executive Director, Patty Schoepf. She has helped us grow to be an organization that exemplifies the mission and purpose of the American Advertising Federation. The following message of resignation was provided to the Board of Governors:
“I have been this club’s Executive Director for 17 years, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all of the opportunities it has given me. I have truly enjoyed working for this club. While I am sad about leaving, I am very excited to start this new chapter of my life. I am proud of this club and everything it does, but it is time for me to move on. I cannot wait to see what you all continue to do to grow and improve the club. I am so thankful for all of the life-long friends that I have made throughout my time here. Thank you for making my experience here amazing and for all of the great memories.
My last day will be June 28. Please keep in touch!”
Patty Schoepf
We absolutely wish Patty the best and thank her for her leadership. If you or someone you know would be interested in filling this position, please contact one of the selection committee members. The job description is posted on our
careers page
.
Thank you,
Michael L. Seay
