Congratulations to all of the AAF Toledo ADDY award recipients! We are honored to be able to recognize and showcase Northwest Ohio’s best creative talent in a wide variety of advertising, marketing and public relations categories at the historic Valentine Theatre. A special thank you to Touchdown Agency for partnering with the AAF of Toledo to design and deliver the theme "Better Together" for our 2019 ADDY Awards. I would also like to thank HOT & Homewood Press for their partnership in printing the materials for this event. Click here for a copy of the winners booklet.

Lunch & Learn with us on Wednesday, March 20th at Hensville – The Roost from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. We will be featuring a panel of social media experts from the Toledo Mud Hens/Walleye/Hensville, Toledo Zoo and Mary Wyar Photography. Also, don’t forget your donation for our non-profit partner, St. Paul’s Community Center .
Join us on Friday, March 29th for our annual bowling tournament, AdPIN ! Only a few lanes are available for the event that takes place at Rossford Lanes and includes: glow bowling, shoes, food, trophies, and more! Contact Patty at director@aaftoledo.org to reserve your lane!

AdBID , our online auction, will begin on Monday, April 1 at 8:00 am. We are now accepting donations for this fundraiser that benefits the club’s general operating fund which in turn supports educational programming and social events. A portion of the proceeds will benefit our non-profit partner,  St. Paul's Community Center . This is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Keep in mind, you do NOT need to be a member to bid or donate.

March Events:
2019 ADDY Awards
Approximately 300 members of the local advertising and marketing community attended the 2019 ADDY Awards ceremony on Thursday, February 21 at the historic Valentine Theatre. Michael Seay, MadAveGroup/AAF District 5 Chairman and Molly Luetke, Madhouse hosted the event.

Agencies, local businesses, creatives, and students submitted 162 entries and earned four Judge’s Choice awards, seven Gold ADDYs, sixteen Silver and sixteen Bronze awards. Student entries garnered a Gold ADDY, Silver ADDY, and two Bronze. Best of Show went to Madhouse for creating an impactful piece for the Toledo Opera “I Dream” Promo.

The Silver Medal Award, the AAF’s highest award for contribution to the advertising industry, was given to Bill Sattler of Madhouse. The 2019 Honorary ADDY for Community Partnership was given to Jerry Anderson for his contributions to our community and to AAF Toledo.

Being a mother to my 2-year-old son (and daughter coming this April).

The reason I got into advertising/marketing:
Back in college I was in line for a trendy event planning company, my professor pulled me out of line and encouraged me to check out a Columbus based digital agency. I did, interviewed, and got the internship. Let’s just say after my first day I knew working at a digital agency was meant for me.
Biggest influences on me professionally:
My past marketing professor at Miami University, Dr. Jim Friedman who really pushed his students to figure out a personal brand allowing me to discover what I stand for and what I wanted in a future career.
 
My greatest unfulfilled ambition is:
Launching a blog (“Digital Angela”) focused on the latest trends in the world of digital advertising.
 
When nobody's looking, I like to:
Binge watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians .
 
Best thing about being an AAF Toledo member:
Attending and networking at the monthly Lunch & Learns.
