A Message From Our President
Melanie Dunn
Creative Director,

2019-2020 AAF Toledo President
We’ve had a busy summer as a club, kicking it off with our annual board retreat. We discussed our goals for 2019-2020 and how we, as a board, can serve the membership better. We will be working this year to update our communications (including this newsletter), evaluate/increase membership value, and increase student awareness of and involvement in the club.

Our AdBASH volleyball tournament was again a success. It was perfect weather and a great time. Congratulations to the winners and thank you to our sponsors and everyone who came out. Check out our Facebook page for pictures of the event. We’d love for you to share your pictures and tag AAF Toledo!

Welcome our New Director
The Board of Governors of American Advertising Federation Toledo is pleased to announce Darcie Lynch as the new Executive Director. Ms. Lynch, a Toledo native, graduated from Anthony Wayne High School and left the area to attend the Chicago Academy of Design.

After college, she remained in Chicago where she put her creativity to work, eventually managing a boutique business in the cosmetics industry. There she was responsible for sales and marketing, planning and executing events, and keeping the business running smoothly. In 2009, she returned to Toledo and began working at Cedar Creek Church where her experience helped her manage volunteers at large scale events throughout the year.

2019-2020 Program Series Sponsor
The first 6 months of the PromoCares program resulted in more than $17,000 being donated to 4 selected local charities. Melinda Bowden, PromoHits owner, recently presented each organization with a check for the amount they had been designated from 5% of product sales. Thanks to everyone who supported this program and we look forward to continuing the giving through December with our 4 new charities; Bluffton for Hope, Ronald McDonald House Charities of NW Ohio, Pierce's Crew Foundation and the Equestrian Therapy Program.

Continue the support by purchasing promotional items through PromoHits and telling us which charity you'd like the 5% of product sales to benefit!
