AALAS National Meeting: Onsite & Virtual
AALAS recognizes the utmost importance of providing education and training for members. We are planning an onsite National Meeting in Charlotte, NC, along with offering a virtual meeting component.
Because of multiple contractual agreements with the convention center and area hotels, the financial impact on AALAS would be greater if AALAS cancelled prior to decisions beyond AALAS’ control. AALAS will not know until closer to October whether the onsite meeting will be allowed to happen or cancelled due to the pandemic and various governmental agencies involved in decisions to restrict attendance as well as employer decisions regarding travel.
Planning for the meeting in both onsite and virtual delivery methods allows the most flexibility for pivoting the meeting should cancelling the onsite portion become necessary. AALAS will provide details for both the onsite and virtual meeting experience as soon as they are finalized. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hotel Scam Emails
As usual, scam emails about hotels for our meeting in Charlotte are starting to appear in your inboxes. Housing will open in July and reservations are only made through our website. AALAS will announce when housing opens and you are able to make reservations.
