World Record Update
|  Everyone is anxiously awaiting the final count from the 2013 World Record Skinny-Dip.
Despite inclement weather in many areas, particularly in Florida, nudists turned out at over 100 venues to participate in this AANR and TNS cosponsored event.
So far, about a third of locations have reported. If your club was a participating location, be sure to email Carolyn Hawkins at pubaffairs@aanr.com so we can get an accurate count as soon as possible.

ESPN Publishes Yearly Body Issue
|
Since its inaugural issue six years ago, ESPN The Magazine's The Body Issue has given sports fans and the general public the chance to see the bodies of star athletes as nature intended. As the ESPN website puts it, to "admire the vast potential of the human form. To unapologetically stand in awe of the athletes who've pushed their physiques to profound frontiers."
This year's issue features NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, NBA star John Wall, and Olympic gold medalist Kerry Walsh-Jennings. Fiat Uses Human Bodies In Body Issue Ad
|
Fiat is hoping that readers of The Body Issue will check out an ad that the Italian car brand put together especially for the 2013 issue. Called "Body Paint," the ad features over a dozen female artists and models re-creating a replica of a Fiat 500 Abarth Cabrio in human flesh.
The behind-the-scenes video shows what it took to create a Fiat in body parts. In addition to the dozen female figures that made up the car, the shooting also required artists, photographers, and makeup specialists-and took five days to complete.

Almost Time To Streak The Cove

It's just two months until what promises to be a memorable third-annual Streak the Cove 5K at Cypress Cove Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 8:30 a.m.
Join in for a two-loop course through the grounds of "The Cove" followed by an all-day pool party. Your 5K admission gets you into The Cove for the entire day. There will be T-shirts and awards for the top 20 male and top 20 female finishers. All for just $25 through Aug. 20!
