Welcome to the online expression of interest for the 2023 AAP Door Knock in Washington, DC.

The AmChams of Asia Pacific annual Washington, DC, door knock will be held from July 16-19, 2023. Information and expression of interest to join can be found by clicking here. This year’s Door Knock will be capped at 50 delegates. (As a point of reference, last year’s delegation had 42 members.) We will provide notice to each AmCham of who has expressed interest from their respective membership.

For those who express interest by April 14th, offers will be sent on or before that date to join the delegation. A spot will only be confirmed if the $1,250 registration fee is paid in full by the delegate within 14 days thereafter. Otherwise, it will be released.

If more than 50 expressions of interest are received, preferences will be based on geographic and business sector diversity as well as on those members based in the region. Once a registration is confirmed, that will count against the 50 cap. Thus, it is recommended to register prior to April 14th. If the cap is not filled by April 14th, registrations will remain open if and until the cap is hit.

• Sunday, July 16: Door Knock Briefing Session at BGR (beginning at 1500) followed by no-host dinner
• Monday, July 17: Meetings with Executive Branch Leaders & Evening Reception hosted by McLarty Associates
• Tuesday, July 18: Meetings with Members of Congress and Evening Reception hosted by King & Spalding
• Wednesday, July 19: Meetings with Think Tanks and Opinion Leaders (half-day through lunch)

The $1,250 registration fee to participate in the Door Knock does not cover your airfare, hotel, local transportation, or other incidental expenses. It covers meeting costs, briefing materials, and meals/receptions noted above. Please note that AAP delegates are responsible for arranging their own accommodations. A hotel with a preferred room rate may be provided for optional use.
