We have conducted four webinars in the 2024 NBCC Webinar Series, and we have a wonderful webinar presentation scheduled for this coming Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM EDT (12:00 PM CDT, 10:00 AM PDT).

 

The title of this webinar is "Leveraging Mental Health: Thriving Through Our Stories," presented by Regina Boyd, LMHC and Sr. Josephine Garrett, CSFN. This presentation was given at Congress XIII and received overwhelmingly positive comments and requests for it to be repeated.  

 

This is a description given by the presenters:

Mental health is a key part to thriving as Black Catholics. In this webinar, participants will gain knowledge and learn the skills to better navigate their personal and communal stories, identify and deal with the role of shame in our stories, challenge mental health stigma and embrace the vulnerability needed for ongoing healing. Join us for practical insights and tools for everyday living and every day striving for holiness.
