The rising racist attacks on Asians and Asian-Americans grew even more devastating on Tuesday, March 16 when a gunman shot eight woman—six of them Asian—in a rampage in the Atlanta area. As mental health providers, we must now hold both our own feelings about this event and respond to the feelings of the clients we serve.

We are offering a listening session for our AAPI providers to share their experiences with each other in a safe space where they can be supported by others in the community.

We offer this opportunity to grieve our losses together and find strength in solidarity. We will also hold time to develop calls for action for ourselves, our communities, and our country.  We are united not only in grief, but also in purpose.
