If you come for Valentine's Treats, you can reserve a lunch at the green button below through the Senior Meal Program from Open Heart Kitchen.

NOW LIVE: AARP Tax-Aide Service Requests
The 2021 AARP Tax-Aide Service Request link is now available:

Once a request is submitted, the following steps will take place:
1.      Request will be sent to a team of local AARP Tax Prep Volunteers. They will process requests on a first-come, first-served basis.

2.      Your local rep will contact you to do a pre-screening.

3.      Once your request for service is selected for processing, a team member will contact you to determine if your tax return can be processed in this new format. If so, you will be given an appointment to drop off your tax papers and subsequently pick up your completed tax return at the Robert Livermore Community Center.

AARP is expecting demand to be VERY HIGH and they may not be able to process all requests. Don't wait to schedule your appointment!

Learn To Write The Short Form
Writing The Short Form: Essay, Memoir, and Short Stories. This Zoom class teaches writing techniques used by pros to turn personal essays and stories into page-turners. Class consists of lecture, writing exercises and class critiques of student writing. Classes are ongoing with new material each session. 

Fee includes professional editing of your work by instructor Barbara Flores, an award-winning four-time published author.

Walking Group Restarting Next Week
'Walking with Purpose' is back. This walking group provides an opportunity to meet up with friends, get in your steps, and enjoy the great outdoors. Masks and socially distancing will be required.

Led by Kathy Lake, we'll meet on Thursdays at the Robert Livermore Community Center at 10:30 am and walk around the park.
