Join AASP for the first of our Self and Community Care Space virtual summer sessions, presented by the Advocacy and Diversity Committees in conjunction with the Race & Ethnicity and Pride (LGBTQ+) SIGs.

SESSION OVERVIEW
As counselors and practitioners, we hold space physically, emotionally and psychologically for individuals and communities, however to do this and do it effectively, we have a responsibility to care for our own self first. Participants and facilitators will discuss our ethical responsibility to “show up” as our best self, to self-reflect on what we can and cannot give and the approaches required to do so. This session will be a space for participants to engage in caring for their soul and mind through meditation, self-reflection, journaling, open reflection and sharing.

WHAT'S THE FORMAT?
The self-care space will be a 75-minute moderated space to engage in caring for your soul and mind.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
