Immovable Feast* and Annual Branch Meeting

The date with the most votes for the Immovable Feast and annual meeting is Friday, May 29. There was no date when everyone indicated they could be available, so if this is a date you can't make, we will miss you and try to keep you in the loop.

We will set up starting at 5:00pm and plan to start eating around 5:30pm. This meeting is always potluck, so please bring something tasty to share. If all you can muster at the end of the work week is a bag of chips, that works. Artworks allows us to serve wine, so your contribution could also be a bottle of wine.

*For those of you who are newer branch members, we used to have a "movable feast" at the May meeting with appetizers at one member's house and dinner and dessert across the street at another member's house. We've been holding the potluck dinner in a static location for a few years now.

WISE 7th Annual

5K Fun Run & Walk

Northend Riverside Park, BIg Rapids

Support WISE on May 30th for an in-person fun run or walk to support WISE. You can also participate virtually to run or walk when and where you choose on or before May 30. All proceeds will benefit WISE and help fund WISE programs.

Indivisible will be holding its monthly protest for May on May 30. The theme for this protest is "His War--Our Dollars." If you can attend and are moved to create a sign, here are some suggested slogans:

His War--Grocery Bills UP

Any member who is not receiving AAUW emails should check the email address in their Community Hub member record to make sure it is correct. Contact State Services Manager Leah Monger if you need help. Someone who isn’t receiving AAUW emails and whose email address is correct in the Hub should update their AAUW email subscription through this resubscribe link.
