Gift Cards/Certificates for Restaurants, Shops, Services, Activities, Tickets, etc.
Gift cards and certificates are our best sellers, sometimes selling for above value. Let's try to cover the whole county this year!
If you plan to solicit a merchant, please check with Dianne Sheridan first in order to avoid duplication of effort. She will provide you with a flyer and a customizable letter that you can use as you make your request. Contact Dianne at traciinmarin@sbcglobal.net or 415-531-1798.
For a list of merchants who donated gift cards/certificates last year, visit our branch website HERE.
Alternatively, interest group members can chip in to buy a gift certificate, but why not ask a merchant first. You won't know unless you ask!
Gift Baskets
Themed baskets are traditionally put together by interest groups. They make great gifts! You provide the items and we provide packing material and wrapping decor. Ann Thomas will help you make a great basket. Contact Ann at athomas1@pacbell.net or 415-924-9559.
Experiences, Wine, Other Unique Items
Why not create an experience? Think Amy's Tree Identification Hike or the Board's catered dinner from last year's auction. Other unique items will be considered as well. If you have an item that you think might be appropriate for an auction, check with Dottie Burk at dotburk20@gmail.com or 415-328-8592
Homemade or Other Small Gift Items
These items will be sold onsite at the Holiday Lunch on December 2. Think about lower priced gift ideas. Past popular items have included plants, jams and baked goods, sachets, handmade scarves, puzzles, etc. Contact Pauline Nakamuli with your ideas at pnacamuli@gmail.com or 415-450-0582.
